Her 2 worst games this year as far as efficiency have been vs, Oregon St.

In her 1st game against them, she scored 28 points, but took 33 shots to get there.

They've figured out a way to defend her that no one else has really been able to duplicate.

A poorly played basketball with ridiculous turnovers, no defense and showcases nothing but shooting ability?!?

If every NBA game were played like an all star game, Towns would be the Babe Ruth of basketball with almost no comparable.

You've not bothered arguing whether the deal was better than what the Knicks gave them

I don't think there was a boatload of picks from the Lakers actually.

But it also makes way more sense to deal him to the East.

You'd think it would make some sense for a team to send a player to the other conference (personally I think you should just make the best deal regardless), but that wasn't Karl's reasoning either. Melo mentioned in the interview after Karl squashed the Lakers deal pretty much out of spite to Melo, he tried pushing to send Melo to Utah in a deal based around Derrick Favors, which if we're talking best deals, I don't really see how you could make a Utah offer better than anything else offered. Karl just really liked Favors, saw him as a better version of Nene according to Melo so that's why he was big on it. But Melo, being an impending free agent, wasn't gonna re-sign with Utah so that fell apart. Then they started looking East at Brooklyn and New York. I could buy the logic of Karl not wanting to do the Lakers deal, even if it was a fair deal, so as to not send Melo to a fellow Western competitor if he only focused on Eastern teams. But since he was engaging other Western teams shows it wasn't really about competition. Karl didn't want to give Melo what he wanted so he squashed a deal the Nuggets FO had in place, which I think may have been Ujiri as GM at the time (he came on some time around 2010 to 2012, too lazy to look it up).
