Reaves misses the Three and the Lakers lose. This series is done. The Lakers did the same thing they did the last two games. They get to about the 5 minute mark in the 4th Quarter and they just start to fade. And Voila, this one is done.

I don't see the Lakers winning three in-a-row. It just is not going to happen because the Lakers have players that disappear like DRuss did last year. So, the Lakers may win Game 5 but it'll come back to Minneapolis where the Lakers will lose the series.

Yea, the refs have been doing ticky tacks all day. So, it is a matter of the Lakers having the mental stamina to enforce their will by good shooting down the stretch and they have not done it all series long.

JJ gets some blame for this.

Bron and Luka played way too many minutes.
That is because we have bench players who can't hit open looks when presented with the opportunities. Quite a few players who just don't have the mental toughness to win the big games and the rest of the league knows it.

Tough loss for the Lakers. Great look on the last play, Reaves clanks it. Really ticky tak call on LeBron...
That said, I have to put this loss squarely on the shoulders of...J.J Redick. For a smart guy, he was brain dead today. Luka and LeBron nearly play the entire game, they play the same 5 the whole second half...The Lakers have a 10 point lead going into the 4th and you can't get them a 2 minute blow to start the 4th? LeBron is in his 40s and Luka is coming off another stomach flu where he is likely dehydrated from throwing up 10 times. Terrible coaching, I don't care what anyone says

Bron is 40 and played 46 minutes. That cannot happen. He gets tired.

Luka played 46 minutes and still not 100% in shape.

Hachimura played 41 minutes.....

Hayes played just 4 minutes.....he could have played a little more so Hach and Bron can get some rest.

Vandy played just 7 minutes and Gabe just 13.

I have the Lakers in 7. Will win in LA, win game 6 in Minnesota and take game 7. They would have won game 3 if Luka hadn't been bed ridden sick and would have won today if their coach hadn't choked the second half

Yep, ya can't make errors in the post season. The Lakers have done that. They will lose this series because they don't have the mental toughness to power through when they need to. It has appened the last two games before today. Redick has no faith in his bench because they don't score when they are called-upon to do so. Then he plays James and Doncic nearly the entire game. That was stupid. Stupidy gets you losses and going home early.

I don’t know how you play 82 games and manage to secure the #3 seed in a tough Western Conference only to choke your first round series.

Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I know top seeds have lost in the 1st pound before, but not like this.

I don't think anybody has this team figured-out, ALR, including the HC. Alot of undercurrents can be identified but they simply are being outplayed and outcoached by a younger, better team and they have no answer for the presented challenges. Somebody is forever disappearing and the Bench has been horrific. And, it makes no sense to sit Western Knecht the entire series. Dude has not seen the floor AT ALL!

As a team, they have been going home early at approximately the 5-minute mark of the Fourth Quarter. Minnesota catches them and passes them. They have done this in the last three games. Game 2, they came back to win but in Games 1, 3, and 4, they didn't come back. They just surrendered.

Yeah Knecht not playing at all and Hayes barely playing makes no sense.

You are missing a lot of the lobs and easy baskets that come with having Hayes on the floor. And Knecht should be playing period.

JJ did a great job with the lineups during the season, but he has choked in this series big time.

And Reaves has been a no show most of the series. Dude averaged over 20 per game this season, and most games hasn’t hit that this series.
