Hock going to NE is a pipe dream, though. I don't think he'll get out of the top 15. The Chiefs would absolutely take him if he was there.
All their issues on D they are taking a TE when they probably have the best TE in the league?

Nope, I'm comparing them because they're one year wonders.

As I've said multiple times now. Multiple times.
With zero actual rebuttal from you.
Guess you have nothing.

Haskins hasn't played a down in the league lolzzz

If Hockenson is something like #7 or #8 on your overall big board and he is sitting there at #29 then sure.

I guess, but wouldn't a team do their "big board" based on their own needs?

So Akili Smith had the same amount of time starting, so that means Dwayne Haskins is exactly the same in your eyes.

They're nowhere near similar guys. You know nothing of what you're talking about. That or you're just the kind of guy that lumps players of the same race together like that.

A team should trade up or down based on their needs so generally speaking a scenario I just mentioned should almost never happen.

Hock would be really dangerous in KC, but I don't think that helps them in getting back to the AFC title game. They've already got a dynamic offense. They desperately need pieces on defense. If all of the defenders you have on your big board are gone by #29, I'd start entertaining some offers.

Oh, I totally agree. I think the right move 90% of the time for playoff teams at the very bottom of rd1 is to try and trade back into rd2. You see teams like the Patriots do this all of the time. Teams at the top of rd1 will be eager to trade up for a falling QB prospect that they can get with rookie contract control, too.

The only Chiefs rumor in rd1 right now is trading for Frank Clark. A Frank Clark contract on the team probably means that Tyreek Hill is a short-term Chief and it also means that the Chiefs probably aren't in a great spot to replace him in this draft because it'll likely take at least a 1st and a 3rd to get it done if I had to guess.

If the Chiefs don't trade their rd1 pick, the value is in the Defensive Back position. This linebacker class is absolutely garbage after the Devins and the edge rushers that will drop will have some serious issues (Sweat and Polite are likely off many boards)

I won't argue this. As an Eagle fan you're an expert at going One and Done.

Agree...and I guess there could be things we don't know. I don't know Kelce's contract situation, but if he is looking to break the bank maybe they figure they'd rather pay a guy the same amount for 5 years that they'd have to pay Kelce for 1.

Defense makes more sense, but the odds against Hock being available at #29 are extremely low.

Did you mean to say the odds of Hock being there at #29 are extremely low?

My mock draft-Rip it apart boys

The more and more I think about it I bet the Raiders go Oliver. I think if the Jets don't trade back there is a very good chance they take Quinnen at 3 unless Zona does indeed pass on Murray. Oliver is gaining more steam he probably goes top 4-5 for sure imo

Want one of Quinnen, Oliver, or Hockenson at #9 for Buffalo. Need these QBs to stay in the mix in the top 10, lol.

Have to admit Giants trade of OBJ in this scenario not bad. OBJ for Peppers and White, and still another 3rd rounder?

I'd still make the deal.

Its sounding like Hockenson is the only one thats even remotely possible with Oliver probably going top 6.

Yeah. That's why we need more QB madness, to push the real value down.

Hock would be huge for Buffalo. But that makes sense, so it probably won't happen. They just tossed like $20m at Tyler Kroft for some reason.
