Hock going to NE is a pipe dream, though. I don't think he'll get out of the top 15. The Chiefs would absolutely take him if he was there.

Ha ha! Kyler Murray scored a 20 on his Wonderlic test. The lowest of any QB in the draft. That's almost retard level. I think my dog scored a 19.

Here's the rest of the 2019 QBs:

Finley 43
Minshew 42
Jones 37
Stick 32
Thorson 32
McSorley 31
Grier 30
Rypien 28
Stidham 27
Lock 26
Jackson 25
Haskins 25
McGuire 22
Murray 20

CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco reported Sunday that the Cardinals’ ownership floated the idea of drafting Murray in an attempt to generate excitement among the fanbase, which in turn would help sell more tickets. But after not getting the desired reaction, Prisco says the Cardinals are no longer planning to select the Heisman Trophy winner with the top pick.

“The ownership pushed for Kyler Murray. That much I know; I was told that,” Prisco said on CBS Sports HQ. “And the reason they did is they were having a hard time selling tickets. Well they put it out there and Arizona was lukewarm to it. So now all of a sudden, they’re pulling back, from what I’ve been told.

“They’re going to go in a different direction. They’re not going to draft Kyler Murray.”

So, do they go Bosa?

After glancing at their roster, it has to be Murray or Bosa. A Bosa pick to me is smart because it allows them to give Rosen another shot and if he fails then they can dip into next year's QB class. The Bosa pick is only dumb if they think Murray is a legit franchise QB prospect so this whole thing really just comes down to the evaluation on Murray.

Ultimately, I think its still Murray and the Cardinals are waiting as long as they can for the best possible offer (which I suspect is going to be a mid 2nd rounder)

I think they ultimately do. If they do take Murray though I see them trading Rosen on draft day or before. Nothing so far seems like they are trading Rosen so I would have to think the plan is Bosa.

How do you take an injury risky Bosa with a talent like Quinnen available?

Cox and Donald lead two of the best teams in the league while in their prime.

First off, Smith was mobile and athletic and could buy time scrambling. He also could run the option. Haskins is a pure pocket passer, pretty much the opposite of Smith. Smith also seemed to have maturity and leadership issues, Haskins doesn't. They are different prospects. Haskins is a project that could benefit from sitting but he is a way more refined passer than Smith was coming out.

Haskins is compared to a Drew Bledsoe type of player.

Both had one big year. Same size.

Also the same amount of rushes in their final season (82, 79).

32:8 to 50:8
10 ypa to 9 ypa

Haskins is more refined as a passer and he did throw it 150 more times which helps but he's still inexperienced and those guys tend to turn out poorly at the next level.

NE has the ammo to go up there and get Hockenson if they choose. I don't think they will though.

KC has much more pressing needs on D. I can't see them taking another TE. Granted Hock could probably teach Kelce how to block.

I'm not actually sure the Chiefs strategy with rd1 picks atm is to address needs but the Chiefs could certainly use another TE. Kelce had 150 targets last year.

Cameron Erving is also the only Chiefs player that needs to learn how to block.

Honestly both teams should be trying to trade down. Rd2 and Rd3 has a lot of value in this draft imo.

I'm not sure KC knows what their stradegy is? After letting Justin Houston, Dee Ford and Eric Berry go and switching to a 4-3 scheme? They need to hit on as many Defensive players as possible.

8 picks gives them a lot of options. The offense with Mahomes will be fine. Sure it would be nice to save some wear and tear on Kelce but too many holes on the D to go after Hock early IMO.

They also brought in Honey Badger, Alex Okafor, Bashaud Breeland, Emmanual Ogbah and spent their entire draft last year on defense.

I do think they need Speaks or Kpassagnon to break out at DE or if they don't think thats possible then they need to draft a guy early this year. Its likely that their draft is pretty heavy on defense, though. This is the mock I just did on this board:

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

1.29 : Nasir Adderley - S - Delaware
2.61 : Justin Layne - CB - Michigan St.
2.63 : David Montgomery - RB - Iowa St.
3.92 : Charles Omenihu - DE - Texas
5.167 : David Long - LB - West Virginia
6.201 : Paul Adams - OT - Missouri
6.214 : Travis Fulgham - WR - Old Dominion
7.216 : Jahlani Tavai - LB - Hawaii

Lots of defense.

Pretty much what I expect the Browns and Chiefs to do is go with pretty much all defense, sprinkle some OL in there.

You're comparing him to Akili Smith because he's black. They are nowhere near the same type of player. Above that, they're nowhere near the same type of person. Akili Smith had major maturity and character issues, while Haskins is essentially a coach's dream.

Nope, I'm comparing them because they're one year wonders.

As I've said multiple times now. Multiple times.
With zero actual rebuttal from you.
Guess you have nothing.
