Good point but, I think Goodell is past that. He's tired of looking like a smuck. Everytime he penalizes RK, BB, TB or the Pats, NE seems to win a SB.

Curious if Ole Rog decides to go to NEs opening night this year? No excuse since he gave opening night to the Pack and Bears

Yes, and I've watched the draft since the early 90's. Every year, pretty much every pick. But back then it used to be produced for "us" the people who watch it. Now it's produced for the people who only care about the first pick.

When they're making picks I want to see/hear those picks. I want info about the team that's making that pick, their needs/depth chart/roster moves. I want highlights of that player being picked and who else is available.

What I don't want to see is a bunch of jackasses talking about Kyler Murray. I don't want to see interviews with coaches and GM's about who they took Thursday night. I don't care to see man on the street interviews about bachelorette parties. Or what Joe the Titans fan thought of what Reggie Wayne said a couple days ago.

Like you said, I'm watching. But I don't watch baseball games to find out what Nolan Ryan thinks of the Golden State Warriors chances at repeating. And I don't watch the draft live on Saturday morning because I'm wondering what Dave Gettleman thinks about Eli Manning.

He's no threat to Eli or Jones. He's an athletic and strong RPO QB that is too often more tough guy than smart (will run through tacklers if he can) and has been through a myriad of injuries as a result. Decent arm but not very accurate. Loved him at Syracuse, but would be shocked if he had much of a career at the next level beyond 3rd QB. He certainly doesn't play like either of Eli or Jones, so he would be a tough fit as a backup.
