The only reason I took Bellinger is bc @Nosferatu mentioned him last night. I figured he was decent at least, looked him up and thank you Nos for name dropping :suds:

So far in the first 3 picks, I know of two of them. I'd say that was either decent considering my knowledge or absolutely horrible that I didn't know of someone who was picked in a first round of a draft. LOL.

Devers was a very nice pick but not surprised you didn't know him. A young stud, only 22. Get used to it though, there are going to be a lot of picks that are very young guys and rookies

Yup Devers was on my mind. THere are enough Pre-Arb guys availble that are going to go between my two picks that may or not reach Yelich's level by next year so just went with him as I was sure he wouldn't come back. Where 1 or 2 of these younger guys will.

@CitySushi

You are otc.

I wouldn't sweat it. Just grab one of the Jrs that are around. Instant name recognition.

We are basing it on how they play today, not career?

Draft and vote like we are building for the 2020 season. Player has to have played in the Majors to qualify.

I gotta say I think it's insane he lasted this long.

500 selects Mike Trout $17,666,667

That's like, 1/4 of the salary cap, which keeps going down. If it was back at 130, I may have thought about him.

I know why I didn't take Mike Trout. But the rest of you guys are idiots.

Yeah I still would have picked Bellinger for the fact he is younger and $17M cheaper but the cap is so low hard to pull a trigger on a salary that high at this point
