Vereen isn't bad for the Giants either.

Wow. I missed the Vereen deal. Sneaked past me. That sure does cloud the backfield.

Just when I thought the Raiders MIGHT be turning a corner, no ridiculous spending on free agents just because they have the cash. . releasing most of the has beens, not trading half their draft for band aid linemen...

Now they bring in T-Rich. I have to wonder, what is it about Lat Murray that the Oakland staff knows, but isn't visible to must everyone else? They flirted with virtually every RB in free agency, signed two of them, yet Murray has all the look to many people in the know of a true lead back. I don't get it. And signing T-Rich? Just as well had wiped your arse with that 4 million

True.. but at lest there I know he's not being signed to actually play, and if he does get forced into action, at this point, he can't be worse than the Schwab, and he's much cheaper

I'll say this much about Ponder, the few times I saw him play for the Vikes I thought he looked good. He was poised. He made solid throws. Obviously my sample size was small, but I thought the kid had potential.

I'm wondering just what is up with the Saints. Seems they are poised to become a more run oriented team. Regardless, it certainly appears Brees will not be elite this coming season with his best weapons out the door. Perhaps they are remaking themselves to become more like Seattle ??

I think they will be more run oriented and TRY to play defense this year. Plus they might go after DGB in the draft, because they need a wr.
