it bugs me that the Royals keep kicking the shit out of the Giants.

Chiefs are hitting the skids a bit 2-3 in their last 5 games. Tonight's loss to Kamloops is really the first game this year I would categorize as a "bad loss."

Spokane beats Vancouver 6-4 tonight. Mitch Holmberg was on the ice for 5 of the 6 goals and with 4 assists in the game has 42 points through 17 games. If he keeps up that pace all season, he'll end up with 178 points.

The Chiefs play Portland tomorrow. Gotta get that monkey off their back.

Ok here is what the Sutter Game Miscoundt in the Royals vs Rebels game from my eys(i'm a royals Season ticket holder and sit close to the vistors box). Maxwell gets called for Slashing. One of the guys in my section (Rob) goes and starts jeering Maxwell. Sutter(who is serving a Roughing penialty) smacks his stick againist the boards in a attempt to shut him up. Rob than starts on Sutter (incenuatiung(sp) he is crying). Sutter grabs the Water Bottle in the penialty box and squarts some over the boards in Rob's vinicity. Ref catches that. Sutter gets a Game

His teammate, and Sens 5th round pick last year, Vincent Dunn is now on a 9 game GOAL streak.

Youngest player in the draft last year (one day from being in this year's draft) and he has 9 goals, 7 assists and 59 PIMs in 17 games this year. I like that kind of play from a 5th round pick.

Speaking of 5th round picks, that's what the Flames gave up to acquire Kris Russell (former CHL defenseman of the year). He's been playing great for the Flames this season.

I wanted the Sens to pick this guy up fro a couple of years now. I guess with Karlsson (basically a millionaire's Russell) the Sens brass didn't want another undersized D-man. Be that as it may I would love to have Karlsson on the first pairing and Russell on the second and just play an up-tempo game.

It's a shame these two "rivals" only play once a year. It always seems to be a good game when they play. Sounded like tonight was a very entertaining back and forth game. Glad to see the Hat come away with a point. I believe this was the Chiefs' last game ever in the old arena. When they return in 2015 the new barn should be ready to go.
