My Miners sucked this year and by gawd we earned a "worst game" designation.
At a certain point it ceases being fascinating and becomes the hockey episode of South Park.
Also, is losing 39-0 to the Big Ten champs really worse than losing 49-0 to a 3-9 team?
Alabama - USC
One of most anticipated match-ups in the preseason and a national broadcast game to only end 52-6.
I was wondering the same thing. Great game for Michigan fans, but that has to be one of the worst games to watch for anyone just looking for a good game. How the hell was Michigan vs Rutgers not on the list? I mean it was 78-0.
I was more embarrassed by this game than the Ohio State game. And we fucking won. I don't know how many 3rd and 21 situations we gave up for 1st downs, but it felt like a dozen.OU vs Coloring Book U
People had to go to Lubbock to watch the game in person
Over 1,700 yards of offense
76 First Downs
Time of possession was evenly split
Only 2 turnovers (Both by TTU)
OU was favored by 16 and the O/U was 86
125 points were scored
OU rushed for over 300 yards, Mayfield passed for 545 yards
TTU's Mahomes passed for 734 yards but the team only rushed for 120
This was the most vulgar exposure to the ramifications of QB-centric 7on7 high school football infecting the college game.
I think we may need to spray.
Everyone is going to have their own list of best/worst.
For example, we might think UW 71 ducks 20 is one of the best games of the year, while it's clearly the lowest of low points for the faithful from Eugene.
From a national perspective, put most of the bowl games on that list just because they are bowl games and so many weren't competitive at all. Easily one of the most disappointing bowl seasons I can remember.
