Stafford was on and off again today, pretty good game overall.......but does anyone make more impressive throws? Off-balance, almost zero windup, sidearm balls bulleted 20 yards downfield on a line, anywhere on the field all day long. Its like he's throwing a dart, such little arm action, and the ball just zips.

He's the most talented thrower of the football I've ever scouted in college. He gets a little too cute with his arm though and isn't as consistent as he should be, but he's still very young. I also think the Lions use him completely wrong, but that's for another discussion.

it looks a little awkward, not impressive?

but as far as the results, yeah off and on. as much as they throw the ball, you'd think he'd have good stats every game?

The Lions use Stafford much differently than Georgia did. Stafford had a strong running game at Georgia with Moreno, and they used a lot of play action to open up the deep passes for his arm. The Lions by comparison use him like Dan Marino or Drew Brees and ask him to carry the offense by throwing it 40+ times a game.

To me Stafford is better with a strong running game and play action. The play action allows him to stretch the field with his arm strength. It doesn't allow defenses to play so much coverage against him.

Agreed, to me this is not only on Suh, it's on coaching. Detroit's season is lost anyway, if I were Schwartz I'd bench him myself for a game or two. Pretty fucking blatant.

They should suspend Suh, telling him that he does not get the benefit of the doubt, at least not any more. I just don't see his side on the stomp last year and this one. They get a few opportunities a year to do something along blurred lines, why he makes it so obvious with video review is confusing to me. Not very smart, I guess - and of course, with no shock, dirty.
