Not gonna hire a defensive guy when the offense is struggling, rumor has it that Adam Gase and Joshy Mac as early candidates. Besides, Fangio was with Harbs at Stanford, my guess is that he goes with Johnny wherever he goes.

no way Fangio goes to College. Also no way Fangio turns down a HC position to stay as DC with Harbaugh.

If we were to lose our defensive staff, I would be interested in Quinn. But with Fangio, not sure Quinn is an upgrade. What Fangio and his staff has done with this defense with all the injuries is amazing. Quinn coaches a great D, but he also has the talent there.

I agree. Quinn and Fangio are close to equal so why not just hire Fangio who already knows the players.
