well, hell. Harrison didn't play Satruday, and Estelle not much. I'm watching now, Texas TD drive, and Estelle isn't out there. So if they don't want to clean up their act, good riddance.

Charlie Strong will put a team together. If he has to put some D lineman over there and just run the zone read or wing T, that's what they'll do.

I think that is often the case when you see a coach who is bringing in top-shelf talent, but not seeing results on the field.

With as many kids as he kicked off already.......you would think these morons would have learned from this and shaped up. They basically kicked themselves off the team.

I'm putting this out there now.......there will be MORE dismissals. I'd bet the farm Daje Johnson is next.

It sucks, but it will help in the long run. This season is going to be tough to watch. Next year is looking pretty rough also. Estelle was perhaps the most talented OL on the team. Between Harrison and him that was the 2 most talented OL on the team. Harrison ran into trouble with Searles last also.

And for the record jefe.......Estelle DID play in the opener. So did Doyle, Flowers, of course Raulerson.......Doyle and Flowers were pretty bad.

I saw the same thing when Dick Tomey (former UT co-defensive coordinator) took over at San Jose State. He cleaned house and in the process, saved the program. I don't think Texas is in any danger of losing their program, but I do think it will be stronger and more respectable with Strong's fingerprints on it.

I didn't notice until just now, after seeing this news of the suspensions, and re-watching the game, that Wickline has a line in without Estelle, in 2nd quarter. Wondering if he was hedging his bets on whether he would have Estelle against BYU...
