I will harp on umps for as long as it takes the MLB to do something about it. They do more to hurt the integrity of the game than people using PEDs to heal from injuries.

The plate umps this year for us have been dicey.

For some reason this year there seems to be more inconsistency by plate umpires. There needs to be better accountability by MLB to act against habitual offenders.

If an ump is calling a wide zone or a high zone they tend to do that most of their career and pitchers and catchers know that. Guys who aren't consistent from inning to inning need to be sent back to the minors.
