I also added that he's at the very least been better than him this year, this has actually been a down year defensively for Beltre

I'll wait a few years an let Machado establish a track record before I would say he's been than Beltre EVER was, but its possible

From what I've seen, I stand by my statement. This kid has the talent and the grit to be something special. You don't trade that kind of talent away.

I can understand a person making that argument but I would not want to swap Beltre for Machado. Machado could not carry the load that Beltre has to as a leader and clean up hitter.
