You are the Reds insider right?I’m guessing this is because he’s cheap and because Senzel hasn’t worked out…
I live about 50 miles from Cincinnati and do follow them somewhat just not as much as the Rangers. Senzel was supposed to be the next coming a few years ago but has been a big disappointment to the club because of injuries and not performing when he’s healthy…You are the Reds insider right?
Do you think they would need anyone else we may be looking to shed to get the 40 man where it needs to be in a few days?I live about 50 miles from Cincinnati and do follow them somewhat just not as much as the Rangers. None of today's roster casualties were on my list of 35. Let's see how this roster shapes up over the next few days. Should be interesting. As of now, this is how my 40-man roster would look going into the Rule 5 deadline. I will only include 35 names to allow for 5 free agent signings. None of our current free agents, like Martin Perez, will be named.

I put David Garcia as the third catcher, but it really doesn't matter that much to me who the third catcher is. Also, Brett martin is kind of a placeholder as I think we have to either hold onto him, Santana, or Barlow.
Technically, no one released yet. Waiver claims and a cash transaction. So they are releasing them without us knowing
Wut???
Makes Walker more appealing.
Ok yeah meant wonder who all if all were waivedTechnically, no one released yet. Waiver claims and a cash transaction.

Considering they did a major salary dump this year anybody that is reasonably priced might interest them in a spot that can't currently be filled by their farm system. Most of their Top 30 is AA and below and all of their better prospects MLB Top 100 are middle infielders. Their best MLB players right now seem to be IFers and they're fairly weak in the OF, sounds like the Rangers...
So maybe, maybe not just depends on how highly they rate some of what they currently have vs what the Rangers have and what's coming in another 2-3 years...
If Drury can play LF competently then he might be a trade target if you need to get rid of a pitcher or 2...
