I think they are too fond of Garver being a DH to do that, for some reason.

Heim has a better bat than Moreno. Defensively rather have Moreno and definitely bat upside

I think within a year you won't think Heim has a better bat.

Evidently Jays wanted a left bat in OF but yes getting Moreno would have been great. Maybe it is not over

Moreno had trouble lifting the ball. I thinks we need a much better defensive catcher who can throw guys out so if what you say is true Heim will have to falter and Moreno will have to improve. Still I was hoping we would get him

I’m hoping Huff gets a good long look this coming up year. I’d like to see him get 375+ ABs

So would I. He has not gotten a fair shake since coming up.

Moreno had a much better HR ratio in the minors than Heim did. 27 in just less than 1000 AB vs. 36 in just under 1900 AB for Heim.

If we keep Duran and Smith and they both pan out we could be in the same boat Arizona was. We could have an abundance of OF talent when teamed with Carter, Harris, and Zavala. That could allow us to trade for an overall top 10 talent within the year.
