I think there was a familiarity with Lee's family and Philadelphia that was the deciding factor. The Rangers offered him more money if I remember correctly.

Hamilton ended 2012 on a horrible note and probably wanted a change of scenery. A 5/125 contract offer didn't hurt.

I'm not much for guessing and projections when it comes to 2022 and the Rangers. But I'm enjoying the postseason so far. Can't believe the Rays are already out of it.

Veterans are great to have if they have great stats. The only place you can afford to have a veteran leader who doesn't produce good stats is backup catcher. We may already have that in Trevino.

I am sure the Rays feel snakebit re the BoSox series. I think the Rays losing bodes well for the Astros

They really thought a lot of him a couple of years ago. We simply need him to eat some innings in 2022, and then we can make a decision at the end of the year.

Per Scott Lucas last podcast, he thinks it would be no big deal to remove 1/4 of the 48 players from roster which includes IL
