Leody has this to say about our CF conversation.

You have to wonder if dropping the switch hitting might not help him in the long run...

I'm guessing he's naturally LHed since his swing looks better and so is his production from that side...

Read the article in the Athletic. Much ado about nothing.
Easily predictable everyone was going to take Christmas holidays off

@saddles is it safe to say Green is your top option for the Rangers?
I am hoping we get Chase DeLauter at this point. I would be happy with each of the outfielders that have been mentioned in the top 3 or 4 though. DeLauter, Green, or Jones would be great picks. Of the non-outfielders, I really like Termarr Johnson a lot.

A lot could change in the next 7 months, but I really hope DeLauter falls to us at this point.

I really don't see the Rangers taking a 3B with their first pick.

I hope we get Druw Jones or Elijah Green or Brock Jones if he really tears it up this spring.
I like Chase Delauter but see him as more of a COF, but the dude can straight up hit, so wouldn’t mind having him.
I would like a C or a CF as long as they’re one of the best.

I don't either...

I'm guessing C, SP, SS, CFer the value positions...
FWIW. I doubt if Seager sticks at SS beyond 5-6 years and could easily move off that spot so a SS is not out of the question but of course a CF is preferred. Looks like the top ones will be out of HS. Makes that a slow track

Personally I don't think they really want him to play that position that much and take the chance on him being hurt, his bat is way more valuable than his passable defense at SS...

That means we keep IKF.

Passable is ok for now.
Hernandez is only other current option unless Marcus S moves over. At some point Seager moves to 3rd or 1B but then I may be thinking ahead too much

Yeah part of me thinks the club does not bail just yet on IKF

Jung is passable at 3rd could Corey be better there and Josh play corner OF...
