actually only 1 was non-tendered (McKinney). we were at 39 they non-tendered Garcia, Pozo and McKinney so don't get too excited yet.

not sure he was 1 of the 3 i expected to be no-tender along with Reks and McKinney. i suspected that every player on the team is being looked at very carefully. i was surprised that they non-tendered 2 of the 5 catchers we had on the 40

The Padres have Caratini(decent vet) Campusano(top prospect) Austin Nola(underrated) and just added Jorge Alfaro.

I’m hoping we can make a swing for Austin Nola.

I hope it’s not Campusano.. I know it sounds crazy, but I hate seeing a player go from A to AAA without stopping at AA..
AA is harder to hit at i believe.. hard to get a feel of how good he his.. i dont know..
