They won't have that until after the lockout ends. Maybe February.

Hopefully they will come to an agreement before the deadline and we won’t have a lock out

Would y’all rather sign Schwarber or Suzuki?
Schwarber is only 28, doesn’t cost a draft pick and has proven he can be a .850-.900 OPS hitter with 30 HR power. Defense is limited. Would probably cost around $80/5.
Suzuki is no sure thing but could be better once you count the defense. But he’s never even faced mlb pitching. Would probably cost around $60/5 but also the team would have to pay fees to the Carp basically equaling the cost of Schwarber.

I would say Shwarber just because it’s a safer bet.
Not even close. Suzuki.

Hold on fellas a little longer.IMO the FO has not held off this long without a ace in the hole. Because we have not heard does not mean nothing has been done. I think Story is the ace in the hole.

Cheaper
Better defensively
Younger
About the same offensively

I would assume about the same price once you factor in the fees that get paid to his team.

Definitely better defense

Almost the same age but yeah he’s younger

We’re not too sure about his offense once he gets here and faces mlb pitching?

I would be happy with either one honestly

Ready to see our lineup and depth chart for 2022 lol

I’m excited

I would be pretty ticked if I was a Halos fan having 2 MVP guys and not even sniffing the playoffs. And they spend and really don’t have much to show. They have that good young OF kid too. Sure they got rid of that bad Albert O contract. This is there window but I am not betting on them

they need to start thinking about moves 3 or 4 times down the road and not wait until the last moment. if you know who you're going to promote to the 40-man why wait until the last moment to open needed spots

Sorry for the stupid question I’m about to ask.

Why was David Garcia ever added to the 40 man roster? No team would claim him in the rule 5 and leave him on their 26 man roster all year right?

But now if we removed him he would automatically become a minor league free agent able to sign with any team right?

I have read he has the immediate catching skills to be in then MLB right now so maybe the better question is why we have both Heim and Trevino who are both inferior defensively especially JT

Sometimes they don't make the best decisions in relation to preparing for Rule 5. Remember, we once let Odubel get away and claimed DeShields.

Watch us let someone get away and keep Sborz.

From mlbtraderumors.com:

"It remains to be seen whether the Yankees will be willing to commit anywhere in the neighborhood of the $300+MM guarantees it could take to land Seager or Correa though. The club has two of the game’s most promising shortstop prospects — Oswald Peraza and Anthony Volpe — rising up the minor league ranks. Matthew Roberson of the New York Daily News reported yesterday that the Yankees were more likely to pursue a stopgap option than to play at the top of the market at the position based on the belief that Peraza and/or Volpe could take the reins in the not too distant future. If the Yankees were to eschew the star free agents at the top of the market,"

I know a stp gap option that they can trade for.
