Probably 90% of the AL will be close to the second wild card at the break. It all depends on being realistic about team's chances

I highly doubt we are sellers unless we end up with a lot of guys on the DL in the first few months. Then there is the fact that we couldn't find a trade partner a few months ago for Minor if you believe they actually wanted to trade him then. We were told then it is easier to trade in the offseason.

Are you sure? Not saying you are not but we were 48-42 the 1st half.

After the games on July 31, we were 54-54, and 7 games behind both Oakland and Tampa Bay for the second WC spot.

There were 6 AL clubs with a worse record than us and I doubt the Angels, who were slightly better, considered being buyers.

I want Rendon so bad. I don’t care what we pay him. I don’t remember wanting a free agent this badly. I was lukewarm on choo honestly.

I celebrated hard when we flipped vlad Guerrero because I knew we were hungry for a division title and taking him from the angels really hurt them.

Rendon would be filling a massive hole. I’m not sure anybody realized just how big of a hole Beltre left when he retired, but we have a chance to fill it damnit.

Well if we sign Rendon, if we don't sign Rendon, if we sign another pitcher, don't sign another pitcher, trade Minor, keep Minor, those are all scenarios you mentioned, I just don't know which you are talking about at any given time

I was assuming your scenario included Rendon coming here and then when you responded it seemed that wasn't the case
