Apostle can play 1B. Jung and Wendzel cannot be traded now. Acosta is 17 so by the time he is MLB ready Elvis will have moved on to another position or he will be retired.

You say Henriquez is one of multiple pitchers. So what? Those multiple pitchers are not all the same. If they are all the same then all of our possibilities in CF can be viewed as the same. That oversimplification can work a lot of different ways.

Besides you, who has discussed trading Henriquez?

I've seen Henriquez's name mentioned on here and a couple twitters, but I'm firmly opposed to that

My only problem with Rendon and 7 years is that he has shown an inability to stay healthy for an entire season and routinely misses 10-20 games

I read something on BR where they discussed Henriquez as a potential trade piece this off-season

I can live with that. Beltre missed that much, and much more once, in 3 of his 4 years prior to signing with us. I expect most players to miss that much most years.

Yeah his only real health problem that I can recall was that freak shot to the testicles when with the Mariners, but it appears he was routinely playing about 145ish games, he was much less healthy once he came here, older player and all

I don't know much about him prior to his Dodger breakout season other than inconsistency

Plus Beltre really was at an age when you knew he would miss some games due to leg related injuries plus he played like a maniac including how he ran on the base paths. Nobody tougher though.

I am good with Santana in CF for the bulk of the playing time.

I still remember many said Beltre would only perform well in contract years.

I remember that as well. There were quite a few who were upset that we signed him at the time and that was part of their reasoning.

Santana is more than likely to regress this year considering he hit more HRs last year (with a juiced ball) than he hit in all years combined in his MLB career. The only other thing he offers is he can run the base paths fairly decently, he doesn't walk, strikes out too much and his defense is average. I would leave him as a platoon/utility player for the time being and see where things go.

I never cared for the Choo signing ti begin with. To me, him then and Rendon now are completely different.

The Choo signing should have been in the 12-15M range instead of 20, lead off hitters aren't worth that much. Rendon signing will be way overblown no matter who he signs with whether it be for 5 or 7 years.
