My school had less than 400 kids in it. I could name nearly everyone in my senior class by name, and actually had at least 1 conversation with each person over 4 years. Can't imagine over 6 k.

6k+ in one HS? That's nuts.

They have two separate schools a 9/10 & an 11/12. Allen has a separate 9th grade campus. The schools I mentioned before are huge, size of a small college. I use to live in Allen and moved my family to a smaller district a bit further north.

I had my daughter in a public school here and it only had about 3,000 kids. That was too many for me so I took her out of there and put her in private school. I can't imagine over 6,000.

Did anyone get run over by a golf cart this year?

That cart came at him like it was seeking revenge.

They still maintain a 24/1 pupil/teacher ratio. These School Districts are nationally recognized and Have won multiple Blue a Ribbon awards. There are advantages and disadvantages to a large High School.

Indeed. But Women's college Volleyball is more interesting than any form of baseball.

In Oklahoma Jenks and Union may have around 6,000 students. They have by far more students than any other 6A school in Oklahoma. They have built football dynasty's. One of them has won the 6A title the last 18 years straight. And not only that but they have played in the title game against each other those 18 years I believe.

I always brag about graduating third in my class. I try not to mention that there were only 32 kids in my graduating class.

Not really, just shows how big football is in the Lone Star State.

Oklahoma had 40,000 for the state title a couple of years ago. I think that is more impressive than Texas having 54,000.
