In 2003 Missouri beat Nebraska 41-24
In 2007 Missouri beat Nebraska 41-6
In 2008 Missouri beat Nebraska 52-17

Those are ass kickings.

Are you getting the picture?

Texas 4, 4, 3 ,2 , 3, and 1 pt

UR Texas 37 #3 Nebraska 27 in 1996 was an ass kicking, as Texas rolled over 500 yds of offense on the Blackshirt defense. Prevented NU from winning a NC. This was also an ass kicking b/c UT QB James Brown had predicted Texas would whip NU by 2 scores and everybody called him crazy.

2002 #16 Texas 31 #12 NU 7 - ass kicking

UR Texas 20 Nebraska 13 in 2010 was an extreme beating b/c that was Mack's worst team ever and they walked into Lincoln and embarrassed the Corn Fuckers. NU was ranked #5, came into the game averaging over 45 pts per game and over 470 yds of offense a game. NU scored 6 pts on offense and the Texas D held their offense to 202 yds of offense. Mack showed mercy by making Gilbert take a knee at the goal line with a minute left to play. To make this more embarrassing, the Corn Fuckers were embarrassed by Garrett Gilbert, who was easily one of the worst QB's to ever play at the 40 Acres.

So, are we assume that UNL's glory days are in the past, like almost 20 years ago?

I think so, b/c in another thread, they're ridiculing and bashing Wisconsin fans b/c the school hangs banners for playing in BCS bowls, mainly the Rose Bowl and not winning them. Everytime a Wiscy fan fires back to remind these dumbfucks that the last time they played, Wiscy dropped 70 pts on their team and that NU hasn't done dick in over a decade, NU fan responds by saying, "Well, we were badass back in '95"............

Another myth spewed by NU fans. Out of the 9 games won by Texas against NU, Nebraska was the higher ranked team in 5 of the games played. 3 times an unranked Texas team beat a top ten NU team, twice in Lincoln. The only bad teams were during the Callahan era, and even then, Texas only beat 2 of those teams.

'96 UR Texas 37 #3 NU 27
'98 UR Texas 20 #7 NU 16 (Lincoln)
'99 #18Texas 24 #3 NU 20
'03 #16 Texas 31 #12 NU 7
'10 UR Texas 20 #5 NU 13 (Lincoln)

Those Nebraska teams were not ranked that high by the Final polls. :L

1998 #19 ............(4 pt win)
2002 Not Ranked..(3 pt win)
2006 Not Ranked...(2 pt win)
2007 Not Ranked...(3 pt win)
2009 #20.............(1 pt win)
2010 #20.............(7 pt win)

That Texas finds those as great accomplishments is truly a laugher.

Doesn't matter what the final ranking was. I'm talking at the time of the game, where NU was ranked higher. And nobody finds beating Nebraska as a great accomplishment. Again, when running your mouth against your Daddy, we need to put you people back in your place, simply b/c nobody outside of Lincoln give two shits about what NU did back in the 90's. Beating Nebraska during Big 12 play was a given. Great accomplishments were winning the '05 BCS title, winning the Big 12 in '96, '05 and '09, going 3-1 in BCS bowls, having the opportunity to play for another BCS title in '09, etc, etc. What is really a laugher are the moral victories you dumbasses claim, "well, Texas barely beat us in some games"......

All that matters is the final polls. Do you even remember 2012 Preseason #1 USC? Finished 7-6 after a Sun Bowl loss to Ga Tech.

How about #4 West Virginia in week 7 finishing unranked.

Texas would put banners up for the wins when USC was #1 and WVU was #4.

The rest of the CFB world knows those teams actually sucked.

Believe me, losing those games sucked.
However, looking back on them Texas was barely beating bad Nebraska teams when MANY others were truly "Kicking their ass". Others with 1/4th the recruiting and revenue resources of Texas.
Texas fans have taken the other teams accomplishments that were truly "Kicking Nebraska's ass" and somehow applied it to their 4, 4, 3, 2, 3, 1, and 7 point wins as "Ass kicking's".

Only in Texas where everything's bigger, including the exaggerations.

The biggest problem is that Texas fans can't accept that Nebraska has a better history.

Hell, it is close over the past 20 years even with the shit play from Nebraska to make it close.

Texas fan can't accept that. Afterall, they are Fucking Texas where everything is bigger and better.

Texas fan can't accept reality, and they can only dwell upon beating a real champ more times than not in largely meaningless games.

Congrats. Your football program is still a national joke and as much as you try, STILL isn't as good as Nebraska.

Since about the year 2000, Texas has had a far better program. Not knocking Nebraska, but don't take anything away from Texas.

2002-2009 sure.

But.....

2013 8-5 Nebraska went 9-4 (Did not play)
2012 9-4 Nebraska went 10-4 (Did not play)
2011 8-5 Nebraska went 9-4 (Did not play)
2010 5-7 Nebraska went 10-4 (Texas win by 7 pts)

2001 11-2 Nebraska went 11-2 (Did not play)
2000 9-3 Nebraska went 10-2 (Did not play)

Hardly classified as a "Far Better Program". :L

In the years Texas could be considered a "Far Better Program"

2009 13-1 Nebraska went 10-4 (Texas win by 1 pt)
2008 12-1 Nebraska went 9-4.. (Did not play)
2007 10-3 Nebraska went 5-7.. (Texas win by 3 pts)
2006 10-3 Nebraska went 9-5.. (Texas win by 2 pts)
2005 13-0 Nebraska went 8-4.. (Did not play)
2004 11-1 Nebraska went 5-6.. (Did not play)
2003 10-3 Nebraska went 10-3 (Texas win by 24 pts)
2002 11-2 Nebraska went 7-7.. (Texas win by 3 pts)

Funny how this Texas bashing thread turned into "well you only barely beat us all the time". Lets be honest, Nebraska is done as an elite program. They don't sit in a good recruiting base like USC, Bama, Texas, etc so they can't come back like those programs can. Add to the fact the Big ten will never let them recruit the brain dead thugs that Osborne built his great teams with, its over.

Actually the Big Ten allows unlimited Partial Qualifiers.

Better be careful. Be ready to hear about the 7 pt "ass kicking" they put on WVU in 2013.

It all depends on how the game was played. Texas beat WVU 47-40 in OT; both offenses were pretty good that day and the game could have gone either way, so it wasn't an ass kicking. On the other hand, Texas embarrassed and stomped a mudhole in NU in 2010 when unranked Texas won 20-13 b/c NU entered the game ranked #5 in the nation, averaging over 45 ppg and over 470 yds of offense. NU's offense only scored 6 pts and barely gained 200 yds of offense. This game wasn't even close and Mack Brown even had Gilbert take a knee at the goal line with a minute left to play to show mercy and not embarrass the Corn Fuckers even more before their home crowd. So a 7 pt win can definitely be an ass whipping.

I find that hard to believe b/c the B1G is supposed to pride itself in academic excellence. I could have sworn the B1G allowed limited partial qualifiers. I'm too lazy to look it up so maybe a veteran B1G poster can inform us what the rule is on partial qualifiers in the B1G.
