Kinda agree. He answered everything that was thrown his way. And the 1 reporter he snipped at -- was an Angels beat writer apparently.

I'm not sure what he's going to bring to the table -- but welcome home.

Yeah I went back to listen to that interaction again.

The Angels blew this from day they signed him. They blew it and they are paying for it in real dollars and bad press. So it blows my mind that CJ Wilson could say Texas doesn't know how to treat players. Maybe he should keep his mouth shut.

Josh didn't mention Jesus once. He was real and apologized for his stupid baseball town comments.

He admits he's said and done some stupid things and he's trying to be a better person. He tells us the Angels got rid of his support system. He tells us he is taking 5 drug tests a week now. He's making a lot of changes and getting back to what works it sounds like. He looked so relieved and didn't bullshit or make dumb ass excuses like he's known to do. We will see if he means it, but if you can find this later online I suggest watching it.

It's gonna be hard for any Angels fans to accept that their owner bungled it. Yeah, Josh ultimately is responsible, because he was the one who relapsed, but as Josh said Arte knew exactly what he was getting into by signing him. I was floored Josh actually had the self awareness to say that.

Wish I could help you. Just don't buy into the bullshit any Angels fans will try to spin that he didn't accept any responsibility for his own behavior. He's a flawed ass person and today was the first time I actually believed that he knows it. In the past it always felt like he was saying the right thing to make people happy. Did not have that feel at all today.

What he does on the field won't affect my opinion of him going forward. I am not gonna be like Arte Moreno and have my opinion of him as a person be held to his ability to hit a baseball.

I hope he's earnestly taking steps to be a better person and father to his daughters. He's probably gonna be pretty meh as a player, and I don't really mind that. He doesn't need to hit homers for me to forgive his shitty attitude. He just has to stick to his word and put the effort in .
