Hah, I have that same feeling for Choo. I wish someone would destroy some of his property. Can start with his gloves and bats, because he's not using them! Man that dude really gets the blood all angry.

I am/was a pretty big fan and defender of Choo. But he's making tough on me with plays like today. That was inexcusable.

I hear it was bad near Stephenville as well.

From looking at the radar it seems the worst has gone for ya, if that's any consolation.

You get any hell damage? Understand there was scattered hail, and decent size too.

I've not seen hail in Houston in a long long time. We only get that if tornadoes roll in. I know we would see it in Belton during that season. Was never fun.

I meant to address this to DT since he's right there at Stephenville. Sorry

Ah, that makes more sense.

Indeed it does.

A great friend of mine lived in Houston for about 20 years, and he had a saying about the hot/humid summers in Houston.

"The driest you're going to be in Houston during the summer is when you're getting out of the shower."

Even then I don't know how dry you are...Sometimes even after the shower you feel damp and like you are sweating depending on how humid it is.

Another thing.... How in the hell can you assume a fielder is going to catch the ball headed into the stands? That's a ridiculous rule.

Never got a wizard answer to that question I had too from Buzz, TAG and golf buddies.

Banister came out to beef and got tossed. Since he was tossed anyway he should have ranted for 5 minutes not 20 seconds. He needs some lessons at that too.

How can you presume a catch?

Lesson: We need to line RF stands with fishing nets to snag any ball it looks like Choo might catch. Just to be sure.

How long do you guys will think it will be before the national media starts paying attention to Nick Martinez? The kid has really been something. I was one of the biggest proponents of giving the kid a chance in the rotation this year, but he has shocked even me.

Probably good I missed this one except tomorrow and Tuesday I may not be moving very well. Just finished watching the replay and that had me frustrated and I knew the won already.

I was going to take today off from Rangers baseball to try and lower my BP. My wife decided she no longer liked the landscaping in the front yard, so I spent the day with a 4 wheeler, side by side and my truck ripping out everything but the large trees with chains. I will let her pick what she wants to go in and Im definitely paying my yard guys to re-plant all the new stuff. Glad to see the team pulled it out in 11, even with Nefi throwing more than an inning again

Martin seems to be a real threat on the base-paths. But he's got to get smarter, or better controlled/coached, and that's putting it mildly. I honestly think, if they took some of the thinking away from him in certain situations, let him just play the game, he and us would be a lot better off.

The Baserunning Dialogues: Leonys Martin, manager Jeff Banister continue conversations | | Dallas Morning News

He is just not a smart ballplayer. Being thrown out at 3rd with 1 out and Fielder at the plate is just as idiotic as it comes.
