coming into the Texas game, Andrew Wiggins had gone on a tear. Wiggins scored a career-high 27 points in the win over the Horned Frogs, and then bested it with 29 points against the Cyclones earlier this week. He was averaging more than 24 points over his past three games.

Texas held him to seven and held Kansas (the Big 12's best shooting team) to 39 percent from the floor.

yeah, what a season so far. Their top returning scorer avg. 8 pts. All others left, either to try NBA, or unhappy malcontents for other schools, plus one young Turk who got a big contract to go home and play in Turkey.

Cam Ridley even did the unthinkable by dunking over Joel Embiid , and the Longhorns maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half. Fans at the Frank Erwin Events Center even felt comfortable enough to start the overrated cheers with 3:09 left.

Chants such as “Where is Wiggins?” rained down in the Frank Erwin center as Texas made Andrew Wiggins a non-factor throughout. The freshman phenom finished with seven points on 2-for-12 shooting, his worst shooting performance of the year.
