I'd do it ... depending on the trade of course.

If I could get it for our #1 this year and our #1 next year..... ( and that's all) I'd jump on in ....

Then try to move down just one or two spots.... pick up an extra and grab MY BOY Watkins all day long

This will be interesting. If I am Hou I would offer the pick too and see what I could get. There is no clear cut #1 and 1-6 are pretty darn close to me.

With the rookie cap in place I can see it happening......... All day long

Depending on the team and the number of holes they have.

I mean if you have a team that is only a few players away .... they might not see the value of the depth in this draft like we do ( 8-8 and below teams)

I guess it comes down to how far down Hou is willing to trade and what they would accept as a return. I know the trade chart is only as accurate as the two teams making the trade think it should be, but even to move from #3 to #1 it would cost that teams 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders. No way I do that unless I see a guy that I just can't do without and I don't know who that would be. I remember hearing that a lot of teams value future years picks as a round less in trade value so it's real hard for a team out of the top 10 to get anywhere near the #1 pick.

But, who knows. This is an interesting year and for all we know Hou likes a guy like Donald or one of the DBs more than anyone else and figures if they get him around 10, that whatever else they pick up along the way is just extra...

I guess the next step is "secret sources" talking about a mystery team wanting to jump up for a specific player. Try to get someone near the top that thought they were safe to panic and move up a couple more slots. Who was it, the browns, that the Skins jumped to get RG3? Do they want it to happen again if they have their heart set on a QB.

There are some qb needy teams that are gambling if they don't take a qb in the top 10. Cleveland could be a potential trade partner for us to trade down with. I would gladly trade down to 26 and add their 2nd round pick
