What player wouldnt want to come and play in the SEC anyway? It is the best conference in america. Not only that his ENTIRE family is from here. The Hogs already have a NC caliber offense and always will under petrino. They just had to build up on the defensive side of the ball. Which, they have and are.

It's ok about Mallet. His backups are more than ready to step in. They already have in fact, and did quite a good job. I'm not as worried as much as the fellow SEC brethren should be. =-)

Speaking of being a real "stand up guy" Corn Train.. Maybe Tevin didnt feel like being totally demoralized by Pellini in front of national TV for making a mistake? What'cha think?

You can never fault a kid for chosing his home state school where all of his relatives are over an out of state school.

Good luck to Tevin. If he doesn't want to be apart of a top 10 recruiting class and play for the best defensive coach and secondary coach in the country that's his loss.

I do think that Nebraska has great defensive minded coaches. Pellini is a great coach and his short stint under Saban just made him that much better, Which to me Saban is the best defensive coach in the game. I think Tevin saw a great oportunity at Arkansas. The Hogs made great improvement with their defense this year from last year moving from 10th to about 4-5th. He saw the opportunity for early playing time and he knows the Hogs are very close to playing for a NC already. With all the defensive depth they have now and will have next year, chances are the Hogs, even without Mallet could be one of the top teams in the Sec again.

Which as previously stated, is just a positive situation when he can do that in his family's home state.

I've always said, any recruit who is even considering changing his mind at this point probably isn't one we want to waste a scholy on anyways............building a championship team is less about having a team of all star individuals and far more about having a team full of kids who are all on board for the same reason..........to win championships
