Been slammed with two major ventures that occupy majority of my time. Rarely get here. Do catch 2/3 or so of the innings of every game if just On while working. Maybe my detachment has it wrong but I'm thinking ... in no particular order

This was one of Winding's last posts on 4/23/14. I sent him a PM months ago just to check in on him and never got a reply. Hope all is well and he's very busy or forgot his login or something

Sounds like a classy lady.

I guess the moral of the story was how she has turned her life around since 2001. She was born in NY and was raised by her alcoholic aunt and uncle who beat her. Her parents were drug addicts and died very early on. She became a general manager for a Wendy's after she got out of prison where she became a Rangers fan watching them on television in the mid to late 90's. She now works full time with a support program to help people in her community. Like I said it was very interesting because this woman has a reason to be positive about this team at almost every home game even through all the shit she has gone through in her life. Whether the causes for her health issues and jail time were self inflicted, seems like her story could have ended much differently. I have a hard time being positive about this team in certain moments but there this lady is rooting them on at every opportunity.

I like the idea of Rua being a utility player for us next year with a very good chance of starting a lot of games if Prince is not able to play. Should someone go down longterm, and they always do, I would have no problem with Rua starting for an extended period.

I would also like to see them try Sardinas in CF unless he is traded in the offseason. If they did that then between the two of them Rua and Sardinas could serve as backups to every position except Catcher.

Of course, according to Daniels, the Rangers are going to be very busy on the trade front so everything could change by December.

He needs to be playing every day.

I think on this team he would get a ton of chances to play. A lot of them would probably be at 1B or DH. It all depends on what the offseason brings. As it stands now this team has no real DH and gets lots of injuries so he would get lots of opportunities, but there is no telling what the offseason brings us as far as change goes.

I've heard this song and dance, and it never works out.

I like Rua a lot and want to see him playing on this team and being successful on a daily basis soon. The problem is for now he is blocked at virtually every spot unless he proves he can play LF daily and you move Choo to RF. AB will man 3rd for the next couple years, Prince should be seen as a DH, if proven healthy and then you have the MM experiment which will continue I'm sure. AS you say though many injuries will happen and there will be playing time for him in several spots. If Wash were still managing he would see plenty of pine time, though I think maybe another manager might use him better. This said I can almost say 100% Rios is gone

Tried it with Choice and got nowhere. Same with Profar

I can definitely understand what you are saying DT, but there are a few differences. One thing Wash is gone. Wash wouldn't play Choice much early on and went with Moreland instead. Choice didn't show nearly as much the year before as Rua is now. Also, Ryan plays more positions than Michael so that would give him more opportunity. I can definitely understand what you and Romeo are saying though.
