It makes you wonder if it came down to either Seabrook or Subban for the last spot on defense - Both have cannons from the point, but Subban is a more dynamic offensive player. I'd say they are about equal defensively (as jstew mentioned, Keith makes Seabrook look good as well).

I actually thought Canada's defense was the difference in the Gold Medal game against the U.S.A.. The Americans simply couldn't get enough shots on goal. Canada's Defense was simply to good.

In order, I would have swapped out Nash, Kunitz and Carter, and replaced them with MSL, Giroux and Neal. But honestly, with the offensive options Canada has, there are no "boneheaded" choices. Not like leaving Bobby Ryan off the US roster, for instance.

I feel bad for MSL the most. Giroux and Neal will get other chances.

Only weakness on this squad is goaltending, but that's such a crapshoot anyway. Have to wait until the tournament starts.
