6-10 sacks by chase isn’t good enough for a number 2 overall pick

Not sure why money wasn't spent on this in free agency or in the first 2 rounds.
The front office refuses to properly tend to the OLine. I don't have the answers and neither do the PollyAnnas on the board.

The OLine will determine the success of the offense. It's that simple. Howell needs to stay clean and the running lanes must be opened. Why the OLine wasn't given priority is beyond me. Thr secondary performed admirably per the stats last year. There was no need for multiple upgrades when we literally have no LG.
Instead, the secondary was given priority for no reason. The front office collects talent in the secondary while undrafted rookies are having to fill in for LG.

Can anyone explain this to me without using the words hope and faith? I could be wrong, but the offseason strategy literally makes no sense here. I am tired of arguing with the same posters over and over about this.

Why was the OLine not given priority then by the front office? You and I are aligned but I want to hear from the other side on this.

How are we supposed to sneak into the playoffs with a substandard OLine?

Asking for a friend.

He is not the answer and cannot stay healthy.
This was well documented in the offseason.
he has to be treated like samuel , with kid gloves

my complaint isnt so much manny and quan the individual players , both should be solid pros , but i hate passing on a JMS , or torrence and even dawand jones (round 3 ) and doubling down on a top 7 rated secondary with 2 more guys . now we have them and its done and over with but if we cant protect our young qb we wont win much . even JB needs protection

I agree.

I wonder if the front office already realizes that they goofed?
I like Quan and Forbes, but we had more pressing need.
CB was not a glaring need and could have waited in the draft. Again, watching the games and looking at the numbers, OLine was much more of a need.

we will know by how they come out of the huddle , how they line up , how many self inflicted wounds ( penalties) the techniques they use , how they manage the clock , the sense of urgency. . None of those things have anything to do with talent
