RR 's hot seat by conventional wisdom
.
- 9 wins or less - Move on
- 10-11 wins - Will require a real evaluation of the nature of those wins (e.g., is it largely due to the incremental value EB brings in game planning, etc.)
- 12+ wins - Ron stays.
my wisdom says NFC title game or good bye because the overriding issue is the career of RR is widely inconsistent teams and 3 winning seasons in 12 yrs and even if he stays it would be 4 in 13 yrs
i just dont want the process to be set back a full year or 2 more with this current FO and staff . if RR was a winning HC most of his career then i can see it but he isnt
he may very well stay but its just pushing the inevitable back again . especially when the next year they can fall off a cliff as is RR's history . thats the thing you miss here . long term we arent winning super bowls with RR 9 wins would still have him at a sub 500 level in DCWhat if the 9-win team gets into the playoffs and wins a playoff game? I think he stays.

not interested in fools gold . we have a chance with a new owner to come in , observe , lay out a formula he wants , and get the guys he wants to implement it which can lead this team back to being a contender . RR , right now appears not to hold the owners philosophy when it comes to analytics . either he will have to change or the owner will have to tolerate it or he is goneIt would be an overachievement this year if we win 9 and get a playoff win. Now I will say if EB is the reason why we got the 9 wins and the playoff win and some other team tries to lure EB away to be their HC then I would fire RR and promote EB as HC. IF EB makes Howell a star, we cannot lose him.

Fools gold , believing the coach is better then he is is fools gold . I don’t think ownership knows what they will do with EB at all his pointFool's gold? why run the risk of losing EB if he does well with Howell?
