I just don't think it will happen. I get the feeling that the Flyers will move up to get
1) Nurse
2) Rasmus
3) Pulock
4)my bold move Seth Jones

Kinda crushin on max domi tonight.

Pulock not getting much love on tsn 's preview shows. They have him going in the bottom third.

Really don't want Sammy Morin. That's who Button has the flyers taking.

I think I want the flyers to trade down a little. See if they can't get something like the 17th and 35th for the 11th. Just pulling numbers out of my ass, can't remember who picks where exactly. I think buffalo might have 16 and 35. That'd be perfect.

well from what i'm gathering, people seem to think there's 1-4 as the high tier, 5-9 is the second tier, and then there really isn't a ton of difference between 10-35.. if they can move the 11th pick for say, 16 and 38 from buffalo, you can get a high-end prospect at forward and on D.. plus you have the 41st pick to take another potential difference maker.. stock the shelves big time in this draft

i'd only do that while the flyers were on the clock though, just to see what's available at 11 in case one of the higher end guys falls to 11

ya, i dont think they should trade down without knowing for sure who's available at 11.. plus, you can get a better return if you wait til youre on the clock i think.. then teams know 100% who they're getting if they trade up, there's no risk that your guy gets taken

oh ya, discussed for sure, just no trigger pull til they're actually on the clock.. at least, that's what i would do.

The Flyers have their sights on three defensemen who might be around at No.11 in Ryan Pulock (Brandon), Darnell Nurse (Sault Ste. Marie) and Finnish prospect Rasmus Ristolainen from TPS.

Flyers scouts have been saying for weeks they do not want Holmgren to lose his first-round pick in any trade.

Nurse will be gone by 6 or 7. I think this is where the Flyers will move up and trade w Edmonton at 7, to get Nurse. Just my gut. If it were me, I'd stay at 11 and draft either Rasmus or Pulock.
