So Eklund says we are trying to move up, and it's apparently for Nichushkin, so... :)

Dammit all we had to do is keep playing Bryz and all of these selections would be at our fingertips.

I don't want to give up our young boys in order to move up. I sound bi-polar going back and forth:) I just hope we get a stud at 11.

RIP Jean Stapleton. For all of us old school guys, " All in the Family"' was a classic growing up.

Mark Streit available-turned downed Isles offer and is UFA.

Better be willing to take a lot less than 5 mil per season.35 yrs old and injured most of past few years.

Streit played in all 82 games last year. He played in all 48 games this year, plus 32 games in the Swiss league this season. Health isn't an issue.

Streit turned down a 3 year 15M contract from the Islanders. I think he & his agent noticed that Timonen got 6M for 1 season. Streit wants 5.5M per on a multi-year contract.

He was also a minus 14 for the year. I always liked Streit but 5.5 for him this year we dont need that.

I didn't say the Flyers did. I was just stating that Streit hasn't missed a game the past two seasons. The Islanders refused to give him what he wants. Some team probably will though.

yep.. only way he doesn't get what he wants is if the cap drop actually has a wide-spread effect and teams really can't afford to pay players, which would drive everyone's next contract down

but the owners are, in large part, retarded, so i would expect more stupid contracts

A team like Columbus trying to take the next step may be a good fit for him.

The Isles have plenty of cap room i would think he signs with them.
