T. Williams demanding a trade or new deal

Have to admit, I never thought Trent Williams, our bonafide star LT would pull something like this. Granted, the way business is done in Ashburn, it has and can be frustrating however, letting your teammates and fan base down without clarification is just bumpcuss. Man up Trent and let everyone know what your real beef is. It will likely come out down the road and you will look foolish anyways.

Just read a report by Kiem where the Redskins have reaffirmed that there is no way they are trading TW. Great. Another Cousins scenario where we have a player who has market value and we end up getting nothing for him. Again, no one wins by TW sitting out the season or retiring to get away from this franchise. IF he has stated that he is done with this team, then we need to be done with him. As Jon Gruden said, if you have a player that doesn't want to be here, we should not want him to be here. Get rid of him.

Good article on this subject. Hard to tell the truth based on these reports especially since the media has a real knack for just making things up. As stated in the latter part of the article - trade talks could actually be in the works - just not being discussed at all via the media.

This article is spot on or at least I hope it is. I know we do not want to give Allen credit but if smart he says "we aren't trading him" to help increase value. Multiple teams increases value and injuries yet to happen can increase value.

As a player I love Trent but if he really doesn't want to be here be patient and get everything you can for him.

I drive him to the airport or his new city for a 1st, 2nd and 6th. He is a great player but he hasn't been healthy for a full year in quite awhile, he is one toke from a year off. I think he is only here for 2 more years if he plays. My guess is that is what this is all about.

Of course if I could make that trade he would be All Pro for the next 4 years and not miss a game.
