Shaking my head at some of these pundits criticizing Caleb for specifying what he would like in the next coach and him saying, "If it isn't Ben Johnson, it is what it is!"... So what? Seems like a healthy attitude to me.
Nice to hear he wants to become the next Jared Goff

When it comes to these talk shows, you gotta pick and choose whom has the most reasonable take you do wanna listen to.....add that to your take.

As far as Love being elitle, nah,he is just getting paid as an elite.....as I said,he is foolsgold.
He has the one playoff win under his belt and thats vs a team that is notorious as a playoff choke artist....

And I do believe CW will be the better qb than Love will be.....and by far.
Caleb has some issues to work on (a couple of pretty damn serious ones, at that). Not all of them can be pawned off on the rest of the team either. Bears fans should bring themselves to face that as a reality.

That being said, the talent is undeniable. As we've heard a million times, this HC'ing hire is everything to him. His career could still go pretty much anyway there is to go.

He does have a couple of issues,we have seen many a throws that leaves us scratching our heads like wtf was that......
He lead the NFL with 110 errant throws......
And hanging on to the ball to long......
Same clothing's beaten to death.

Year two is gonna be a big sign for him.......

What's horrifying? Is when you learn that our Oline actually played just fine this past season in terms of allowing Caleb time to throw.

But yes... we shall see.

Even tho the article from Sports Mockery is primarily about how Ben Johnson views DJ's role in his offense:

What got my attention is this specific line:

Where were the slants, shallow crosses, and quick outs?

Honestly, this just doesn't apply to Caleb, we can go back to Fields and Trubisky for that matter. The Bears have been notoriusly bad when it comes to kicking out quick, short passes to their receivers, perhaps aside from the bubble screen, which too often gives itself away before the play even starts. As much as I hate to say it, the Packers over the years have feasted on these plays and no one did it more often or more successfully than Aaron Rodgers. Wanna cut down on Caleb's sacks without so much as an improvement to the OL (which we know is coming)? How about incorporating more of these quick release routes. Hopefully Johnson intends to implement these.

simple answer, not called? why has this been deemed a call out to DJ Moore? Most quarterbacks are consistently getting rid of the ball in 2.5 seconds, Caleb was really good when he got rid of the ball in 2.5 seconds. But you have three receivers in the game and all three are running some 15 yard pattern. No hand gestures at the line, no receivers recognizing a blitz and turning around, I mean all we see are throw the ball to where the blitz came from in the playoffs last year. Kmet watches a linebacker blow past him on a blitz, the response should be turn around and look for the football.

All I see is Johnson calling out an inept offensive coordinator. I have no clue why you hang out DJ about blocking effort, hopefully Ben had a discussion with DJ saying I might be talking about you to the media, its not directly about you but a message for the team. I will just use you as an example since you are the best player. Not really as direct when you look at it that way.

Poles cimes out and admittedly saying they skipped steps in developing Caleb......

Skipped steps.......??....some he says was critical, you cant go to step 2 without completing step one......cmon Ryan, get your shit together.

He didnt say what the steps were, but Im guessing keeping Eberfluss, trash signings of olineman and Waldron.

If Ryan wants a job next season,he better come with it this season......
