Frustrating. Thought maybe that nice comeback yesterday after the fiasco on Friday might be a springboard for the team but back to not hitting again today. Gonna have to be patient with this team. Scott Boras certainly didn't help the situation any.

The Giants just had their longest winning streak of the season. There is bound to be a bit of a hangover effect after that was broken.

Agreed, but Soler failing at a bases loaded situation, AGAIN, doomed us. The dude may hit the ball hard, but what we need are RBI's from him. So far he has driven in only 2 of 69 runners. That's pretty bad.

As poorly as the Giants are playing, they are only two games back of the Dodgers. If the starting pitching reaches its full potential it may be enough to hang with the Dodgers in the long haul despite the inconsistent offense

True. I didn't expect the Dodgers to lose more than 40 games all year, and yet, they are scuffling. Their 1-3 or 1-4 hitters are PHENOMENAL. Their 5-9 hitters are dog meat. And then there is their pitching.
