Not at all impossible. Unlikely? sure. My guess is it happens at some point. Will there ever be a division where all 4 teams make the playoffs (all 3 WCs)? Probably technically impossible.

Unless I'm just misunderstanding what you are saying it would certainly be possible for a last place team to go 8-8 and we've seen 8-8 teams make the playoffs. Well, soon to be 8-9 (or 9-8)Yes technically impossible? Or yes it will happen?
I don't see how the 2, 3, and 4 teams in a division can all have better records than the remaining 9 non-division winners. They play each other twice each year, and those other nine surely can't all suck. Let's say that division has every team go 1-1 vs each other. So that's 3 losses each and 3 wins each. Wouldn't those three all have to go like at least 7-3 in their non division games?
I'm not going to figure out the math but I guess it's technically possible but practically no way.
The 8-8 and 9-7 teams that make the playoffs are always division winners in bad divisions. Has there ever been a 8-8 wild card?Unless I'm just misunderstanding what you are saying it would certainly be possible for a last place team to go 8-8 and we've seen 8-8 teams make the playoffs. Not sure (guess is yes), but there has never been 3 WCs in the 4 division per conference format. The 8-8 and 9-7 teams that make the playoffs are always division winners in bad divisions. Has there ever been a 8-8 wild card?
it would have to be a year when all four teams are 8-8 and the other three divisions have clear divisional leaders. Will there ever be a division where all 4 teams make the playoffs (all 3 WCs)? Probably technically impossible.
when the Seahawks won the division at 7-9, they beat the reigning superbowl champs in the playoffs and gave us all the epic #BeastQuake play. I'm fine with opening up another slot for a team. The 8-8 and 9-7 teams that make the playoffs are always division winners in bad divisions. Has there ever been a 8-8 wild card?
