I still miss Cullen Jenkins. I'm a little worried about the defense. Something was kind of weird there this preseason, and Kansas City's offensive line was like Jello so I don't know what to think.

Nice to see GB was able to get Harrell, Gurley, & West [among others] signed to the practice squad.

Yeah Braun homered in first, Lucroy's homer was just long enough, & just inside the pole.

After everybody lost their minds over Harrell though, LOL. Good lord people. It's Thompson. He's proven everyone wrong how many times now?

I hope Marcum keeps this up. If all of our almost aces get hot going into October and pitch like the aces they can be...

Yeah - Brewers are rollin'. As long as they keep a decent pace for the next few weeks . . .
St. Louis may have a hard time catching up.

That was a solid outing. They needed that, too. Because shit gets a little harder now.

checking in:

brewers get back on track with a nice vacation in houston.

badgers looked good but still have trouble stopping gimmicky offenses. if i have to hear "pistol" formation one more time i will have to find an actual pistol and use it on someone.

packers season looming, lots of questions to be answered, much anticipation.

fall should be interesting in wisconsin. lots of points being scored by football teams and hopefully a lot of runs to go along with them.

Sadly Johnny, I don't think it was the Pistol that got 'em beat. They were just getting pushed off the ball. I think it may have had to do with how fast the offense scored and how much time the D was on the field, but still, their run defense was pretty bad.

With Wilson on the field, that offense is a nuclear arsenal man...
