:bounce:

It was full last night too, we couldn't get into the stands, but I'm kind of glad we didn't. Being right be the OLBs was too damn cool.

How'd you like Casey McGehee's 3 homers the other night TK?!

Awesome!

8 of 9 on the home stand = 2x awesome!

Hells ya.

How do you feel about this one a day stuff? I don't know about the rest of the league, but I think these Packers work hard enough to pull it off.

I think they'll do alright.
Went to practice tonight. Got there too late. Players were already on the bikes with the kids.
No seats available. Went down to south end. Nice close up view of offense & return drills.

First drill - offense back against own end zone:
Matthews got penetration & smacked Rodgers pass - right back into Rodgers hands - so he took off running. Pretty cool.

Later, when Jones caught a couple tough ones, during a drill = crowd applause. Dropped 1 or 2 = crowd "oooh". He took it all in stride, which is good.

After one punting drill Clay kinda walked into Masthay with his shoulder - goofing around a little. Very good to see. Overall team looks serious but enjoying themselves.

Not sure why QBs were catching balls thrown by the other QBs.

Another potential return man - Shaky Smithson [#9]. Looked good. Read the article on Packers.com "One return could change his life" by Vic Ketchman [8/4/11] and you'll be rooting for this kid to make the team.

Jennings was in shorts, wearing a knit cap [it was 80 degrees]. Haven't heard of any injury.

Finley looks even bigger in person.
There is another rookie [wide-out] named Gurley - not as beefy as Finley but almost as tall [6' 4"]

Not much else to say - only could stay for an hour.

Later

Thanks for the update TK! Ya we saw Gurley, couldn't help laughing at his name for such a big dude. Ya, Finley is a big boy too. It's so weird how well he moves. LOL @ Jennings' knit cap.

Did you see that big rookie offensive linemen? His name isn't coming to me right now. Gonna go read the article about Smithson. I have a feeling Ryan Grant me have an uphill battle.

Great article, have to respect everything he did for his bro. That's a man.

Great to hear from Freeman, too, and you're right, definitely pulling for Smith to get a roster spot.

Found out a friend of mine [Bears fan] was in town.
Took him to family night. He really enjoyed it.

- Until the lightning put us all in the concourse for 2 hours.
When the rain finally let up we deicded to leave just as fireworks were going off.

Would like to have been in the bowl, but they looked kinda cool from the outside [NE corner by pro shop].

Too bad we got rained out. Just walked up to ticket window 7 got seats in S end zone [W corner] row 12. They were actually pretty great - real close to field.

"One of the fastest guys on the team..."

actually, Beebe was one of the fastest 100 times around anywhere, world class sprinter speed.
