Hey tk, are you Sheboygan area? When is the big brat festival this year? I need to go. Although, I still don't understand "open faced" brats. Weirdos. "Brat Fry" is also a little confusing. ;-)

Over an hour north of Sheboygan.
Not sure about the Brat stuff.
Reminds me when the Badgers have a "Steak fry" at Lambeau every late summer.
Don't get the "fry" part.

I know it's sacreligeous, but I'm not much on Brats. I'll eat 'em, but would rather have a good burger.
[btw if anyone asks if you want to try trippe, DON'T DO IT, it kinda looks like a brat, but it's not - probably not a Sheboygan thing - it's a Belgian thing]

IDK -
Last year seemed just a spectacular for 21.
Even his injury in SB was classic Woodson - going all out, no matter the cost.
Certainly led to intense drama in 2nd half.

When they got him from Raiders, I remember thinking, "What are they thinking - this guys just another spoiled show-off". Heck, he even said he didn't want to go to GB.

We were both wrong - he's an excellent player who leads by example. Goes all out every time.
Early on he retracted his statement on coming to GB - he seems to love it here, & he got his ring!

Love CW!

Yup. I don't remember who talked Woodson into it. But if that was all Ted Thompson....just one more thing you have to tip your hat to the guy about. It really does seem like Woodson embraced GB when he came, just like Reggie. I've always been a little more defense than offense, so Reggie and Wood have a clean shot at "favorite Packer of all time" some day.

The official version of this was on the Packers site. Just saw it, LOL @ Reggie carrying the ball. First Lambeau Leap BABY! It's "Luh-Roy" Butler though, announcers. Not Lee-Roy. Get it straight!

Yeah - at least he gave the Brewers . . . uh, I mean National League representative . . . home field for the WS. [still think it's a stupid way to determine it]

Bucky -
Brewers gettin' serious - got another closer. "K-Rod" from the Mets.
Don't know much about him.
What do you think?

Not sure what I think. Well okay, ya I am. They need more than a closer if the bullpen keeps going the way it has been.

Well, Captain America, I'm thinkin' whatever help they get is good.
Kinda reminds me of the CC deal a few years ago. Whatever it tales to win.

"tales" [ha!] = takes ^^^^^^^^^

LOL

Nah...you're right. I just have a cynical streak in me. Especially with the Brewers. Not that it's their fault. These pitchers we get stuck with though... And some of them go from hot prospect to total bust. It's just frustrating.
