my junior year in HS, Area round playoff game. Our opponents QB was 85% of their offense. His parents had been killed in an auto accident earlier that year.

First play they walk up to the LOS and our mike LB hells out his name. and say's prepair to meet his parents. My mouth dropped but the game was over at yhat point.

Hope Carter is ok. Surprised he's so surprised by such trash talk. Dude musta really been coddled growing up.

The real story was about Feliciano throwing a teammate under the bus on social media for a missed block. Ironically, he was coming to the defense of another teammate who was getting blamed for missing an assignment.

Carter saw a post of someone calling Feliciano out for throwing his teammate under the bus and he commented on social media “that’s the same guy who trash talked me by talking about my dead friend.” First time that story was passed along publicly was today.

The odds are wrong. On Feb 9 the odds were -125, +115, (best odds either side). The absolute worst odds on the Chiefs were +108. I'm not sure it was possible to bet the Chiefs at such bad odds, (+104). Then again idiots do idiot things.

The odds on Sunday went towards the 49ers, (which was the opposite of what I expected). Average lines were -135, +115 at kickoff. Pinnacle had the Chiefs at +121.

So I spent Monday & Tuesday on the Strip. I remember somewhere earlier in this thread someone who was there during SB week said the number of Niners jerseys vs Chiefs was almost 25-1 in favor of the Niners. I thought it'd be interesting to see what that ratio would be the day after the game. Well, the ratio remained the same, only this time it was for every Niners jersey, I saw 25 fans wearing Chiefs jerseys. Amazing what the outcome of a game will do.
