I had KC from the outset thruout the playoffs, but the way they won tonite was a bit on the strange side. It's their 3rd straight postseason win in which they had to climb out of a hole. But unlike the other two where they started their respective comebacks earlier in the game, in this one they didn't turn it on until the 4th quarter. It seemed like the Niners from midway thru the 2nd quarter into the 4th quarter had the game under wraps. They were outplaying the Chiefs in every facet of the game, and this included Garoppolo easily outperforming Mahomes. Then all of a sudden it was like BAM, and it was the Chiefs doing the damage and taking complete control of the game. SF's normally excellent defense really let its guard down at the end. And Mahomes, who for three quarters was extremely ordinary, clearly demonstrated that in money time, he is now the best QB in the NFL, bar none.

Outcomes of pro sporting events are determined largely by luck. No way to really predict this stuff with any consistency. Otherwise we'd all be stinking rich as sports bettors.
