Ohhh I happily got to use the Michael Jordan quote yesterday. Had to run off campus in State vehicle at red light I hear hey mister can you give me a ride? I think the question is valid. BB and 'we' were spoiled by having Brady run the offense and the Bill's weaknesses were not as apparent. Then again, can anyone name a GM who's run any team and drafted perfectly 22 years in a row? Is there another GM who was retained by a single team for more 10 years straight?

Remember this. The Patriots were drafting every year in positions 28-32. We know that being good has its perks but it also has its penalties. The Jets on the other hand have had a top ten draft every year for the past what? Ten years? And they still sucked year in and year out. Same for the Jaguars, etc. etc.

Consider this. If the Patriots had the Jets' draft piucks over the past ten years, especially this year, do you think that BB would have drafted Strange and Tyquan? I'll reserve judgement until the 2022 season is over. Maybe the Patriots will be drafting in the top ten or maybe, just maybe the kids are better than advertised, make the roster and make a huge difference and the Patriots are back in the playoffs. You know, where they were not expected to be in 2021 with a rookie QB, rookie RB and WR that Bill overpaid for in FA?

I can criticize BB, but Bart Scott is an intellectual rock who barely could barely play football and who's claim to fame is...?????? Fuck him and Keyshawn. Both perennial losers.

Bart Scott knows his stuff. He also is obscure enough that he needs an agenda to draw attention to himself. Add in the bitterness from his teams constantly getting a beat down by the Pats puts anything the Pats do squarely on his agenda.

I have said this 100 times and it doesn't change the way the rule was written was the issue, the refs called it by the letter of the law. That is why it was addressed later.
