Harbaugh owns pissing and moaning about rules!
He's always the smartest man in the room.... until he's not, then the whining begins which is just his denial that he was never the smartest in any room with more people than him and his brother.

Harbaugh is a very smart coach.
He really thinks highly of his own judgement.
When he turns out not to be the smartest man in the room, he blames circumstances or others.
Common for coaches, this trait doesn't make him stupid.

Yes, I meant it as hyperbole. I guess I thought it was obvious by bringing his brother into it.

Why does this qualify as "stupid news"? Is it a response to something else?

It seems more like "Not All that Surprising News".

Couldn't find a better already made topic to add it to. So Stupid News it is.

As many CB's that The pats have gone through I find this stat very surprising.
Revis, Talib, Gilmore were "Big Names" for sure, but there have been a boatload of other very good CB's and those with potential.
Maybe their coached up pretty well too.

My computer started to mess the bed. Took it to Best Buy and of course they wanted to sell je a new one.It woud take at least a week to ten day to fit me in and transfer all of my stuff onto the new computer. No guarantee that everything would make it. I thanked them and went over to a computer specialty store where they make specialized gaming systems etc.

Guy takes my computer apart and laughs and says that my hard drive is mechanical and he was surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Left it there. He going to install a new digital HD, Bump up the RAM to 8G and the storage to 512G. Everything will be exactly where it is, only the system will run about six thousand time faster and retrieving files will be instantaneous.Cost? $280. I'll pick up next weekend when I get back from Florida. Until then, had to awaken my laptop that's been sleeping since I left florida in February.

Not a big deal. But it'samazing how quick not having a system at my fingertips totally wrecked my day.

It won't be that much faster. It'll bottleneck less because of the added memory and will read and write stuff faster, but do you do much where your computer is doing a lot of reading/writing? The rest will be the same speed.

I'm typing this on my wifes computer, bought in 2012 and hardly used. I hate it.
It is sitting on top of my computer, bought in 2012. It is a Dell Alienware and same age but I love it. I have used the harddrive and it was still fine.
I took it to a computer doc and he reloaded windows 7 - not an easy trick. It works again now but it is missing my driver for locating my wifi network. I have yet to fix it. I must go into the Hallmark lounge where my wife and mother in law sit and plug it into the internet with a cable, then spend the day loading drivers off microsoft support, a company who incidently, does not want to support windows 7. I am on windows 10 here in my wifes computer and it is schizophrenic. We migrated to windows 10 2 years ago, working for the federeral gov on their computer. It worked well after they disabled all the bullshit that Microsoft puts on our computers.

Incidently, I'm old, my computer is old, and my iPhone is old. We are defying modern logic!

We migrated to windows 10
Windows has sent outan alert that they will no longer support Windows10 effective May 1,2022. My computer geek saysthat they willcontinue to support it but they want everyone to buy a new computer and upgrade to Windows 11. Of Course Microsoft gets a hit for every version oif Windows 11 installed. He sais the 11 requires advanced internals and most it is junk that's made in China or Mexico. Good stuff to run 11 iswicked costly and theshop says the intallaation is a nightmare foran older unit. Anything 3or more years old will not support the hardware upgrade.

I'm staying with 10 and basically rebuilding the tower.

I have a Dell XPS Desktop that I bought in 2010 for my home computer. I got a company discount and was able get a custom built unit upgraded some specs, memory, RAM etc. I added a Blue Ray writer at one point but forgot to make sure it was in the final build sheet.
Oh well. I still love it, still running 7.
Trouble free and fast.
