Tier 1: Would probably stick with who I have
Mahommes
Jackson
Allen
Herbert

Tier 2: Would have to seriously look at my salary cap
Hurts
Lawrence
Burrow
Stafford
Mayfield

Tier 3: If Brady wanted it all he has to do is show up
Everyone else.
Brady always seemed to have a "while I'm near the best" attitude and not "as long as I'm better than the worst".

This is random but.... I'm reading an article about a massive wind turbine in China with this line "this turbine positions as the biggest in its category with the diameter of the rotor extending over an astonishing 958 ft which is equal to 9 football fields."

It's amazing how feet can be confused with yards. 958 ft is roughly equal to 3 football fields and not 9.

That's a stupid Cleveland Brown fan hoping that a team with money will shitcan the future for a dead head with an evcen worse attitude, and he's praying New England will do it for a useless QB who publicly stated he would never play there.

I’m sure everyone has seen this. But wow…
Makes the left tackle just a bit more important, doesn't it??

Those who ignore history are destined to repeat it. I won't be around in 2051 to see if the Commanders have another QB get his leg broken in two places.

Then again, I'll only be 101.

I'm sure the Patriots are really hoping a LT emerges in this draft to pair with their QB Maye. Unfortunately bad Tackle draft incoming. Maybe best tackle in the draft went down with injury last week during the OSU/Oregon game and the next guy on the list in Kelvin Banks Jr. of Texas is getting destroyed today by Georgia.

Unfortunately, I saw this happening last year. It's been bad timing for NE.

This years QB class isn't outstanding either. So NE was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Take an OL last year and miss out on Maye, or take Maye and hope a decent OL emerges this year.

If NE gets a top 3 pick, I can see them trading down to about #6. I think that's the earliest OTs may go? I like Banks but he may need to shift to G in the NFL. Have to see how he does the rest of the year at LT. Still better than what NE has been putting out there week after Week I feel.

I think NE made the right decision going after Maye. He would easily be the top QB in this upcoming class. I would honestly take any of the guys taken in the 1st round this past draft over anything in this upcoming draft at QB. And who knows maybe one of these tackles does emerge into something worth taking in the top-10. I don't mind Will Campbell (liked him more last year than I do this year so far). I think he could test well and make a team believe he is a good enough athlete with some good coaching could turn into something.

I feel the same way. It will be interesting to see where NE finishes and hopefully they're targeting the best available OL. Then look at where other teams needing an OL are in the draft order. NE could get their OL and some nice draft capital as well?

Very real possibility. I've talked to some people connected in the NFL and they have all said this might be the shallowest draft they have seen since like 2013. There is more talent at the top than in 2013, but that could force some to trade up and get their guy before the 1st round talent disappears. I would put it at about 16-17 names that most teams will say are worthy of 1st round status. So that could cause teams to get desperate and the Patriots could be the benefactor of that.
