Lindy's magazine ranked every team in FBS. Guess how many B1G teams were ranked behind ECU? That would 7 or half the conference as I originally stated. I wasn't trying to start anything , but the bottom of the conference is bad right now.

You guys hear how Kiffin just said "we had a really great year in Knoxville and I can't wait to go back?" :L

Dude's gonna need more protection than Obama at a KKK rally.

Good luck making it in the stadium, I wonder if its possible for a coach to coach a game through satellite.

Word.

See, the rest of the SEC doesn't even givadam anymore. They just call him a bitch and move on down the buffet line.

Team Big 10ers is too sensitive and gets they jimmies in a wad, or their panties rustled, or something.

...

Plus, they've never lost to Texas...

USCe has played Texas once, it was back in 1957.

The issue with USCe's 2014 OOC schedule isn't East Carolina, but I'll bet when they scheduled the game, they didn't think fans would be excited.. It's Furman, this season's annual match with a FCS, and South Alabama.

South Carolina even lost to ECU back in 2012 and it was ugly 48-10

Oooh, I like this guy!

Game on, bro :suds:
No you don't, I go to Clemson and hate South Carolina. I like Dylan because Clemson don't have to worry about a QB gaining a 40 yard run every drive.

What Spurrier actually said:

“Well I like the other conferences, too. Heck, those guys deserve the chance to go play just like the big conferences,” Spurrier said. “The SEC – we’ve got some down the line teams just like every conference has down the line teams. The big five conferences all playing each other, I don’t think that makes a lot of sense really. Playing East Carolina is a lot tougher game than maybe picking up one of those bottom Big Ten teams. Plus the fans around here, we’d rather see a team from close by.”

Bwah hah hah....poor Charlie..."nit was nine-neen nifty neven!!" It must really suck to be one of the Gamecock's all-time bitches.

Oh, and BTW: you've reversed the score of the 2012 game between ECU and South Carolina.

I know you won't stop now, but you really should.

I have no issue at all with a team playing a local smaller conference team. They have a budget for athletics, too, and East Carolina gets more cash from the Gamecocks than they could from the legislature.

I'd love to see a comparable P5 team, a local school money game, and a decent mid-major on any team's OOC schedule. It's balanced.

Sorry, didn't realize you had such a small wee-wee. Gotta over-compensate somewhere, I guess, might as well be through a football team since you probably don't have enough money to purchase a german-engineered sports sedan.

Myself, I drive a hyundai and my wife's got no complaints in the boudoir, if you know what i mean.

Enjoy lake Hartwell!

I don't take issue with what he said at all. There are a few mid-majors that could maintain mid-level success playing week in and week out in P5 conferences. The vast majority of them couldn't but some certainly could. They'd never win the conference, but could end up 6th or 7th fairly consistently.

Damn, misread it. I guess that means this season's game will be exciting for non-USCe fans, not.

Someone should ask Spurrier what the combined record of Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas was last year.

Spurrier is just a bloviating little cock sucker who knows exactly what he's doing when he directly calls out the B1G instead of just making a general statement about the lesser teams in conferences.

It's just classic Spurrier making self-serving, ignorant, arrogant comments.

In '95 before the title game, Spurrier wouldn't stop beating his chest about how much tougher the competition was in the SEC compared to the inferior Big 8.

We all saw how that one worked out for him.

So like, did you miss the part where the question was about playing other power 5 conferences?

I'm saying maybe he shouldn't be throwing stones in a glass house. Look in the mirror for a second.
