Remainder of the year for around $10 million.

He denied the original QO of $14.1 mill.

Time to see if anybody heats up for Morales. Brewers are evidently interested, though I can't imagine that any team in the NL would pay what he wants.

With Hart out 4-6 weeks minimum it makes to much sense. He doesn't need to play in field at all. No NL team makes sense as he is barely usable in the field. What's unknown is if there is still mutual interest. Hopefully it can happen before the draft, otherwise I doubt it happens

Only issue I have with Morales at this point is from everything I've read, he will need at least 50 at bats in the minors once he signs. So say he gets 4 ABs/game, 6 games/week it would still take at least 2 weeks after he signs to be called up. The M's kinda backed themselves in a corner with Hart not being able to play in the field regularly. I can't see them carrying 2 players that are primarily DHs.
