All Bell's camp has to do to fuck the transition tag over is demand a no-trade clause as a condition to signing and it's GG.I think this is nothing more than the media spinning stories in the downtime of the offseason. Easy story to spin.
Hadn't thought of that yet. YikesAll Bell's camp has to do to fuck the transition tag over is demand a no-trade clause as a condition to signing and it's GG.
Yep, you can't fix stupid.Screw him. I say slap the tag on him again. Sooner or later he needs to show up to work or he isn't going to get paid. If he wants to keep wasting his prime years then he'll just guarantee that even after this saga ends he won't get a big contract.
You are absolutely correct. All Bell's camp has to do to fuck the transition tag over is demand a no-trade clause as a condition to signing and it's GG.
now reports are they dont plan to tag bellIf they end up doing this I can see the NFLPA raising hell in the next CBA and forcing a rule change to where a team can't use any type of tag on the same player 2 years in a row.
Not surprising. Easiest move in the world to shit on if the Steelers had no interest in a LTD or FT.now reports are they dont plan to tag bell

There was too much uncertainty with the tag that could easily screw them over. The tag made no sense unless they already had a team tell them they would trade for Bell, which was never likely anyway.
Boy I hope not but why would none of us be surprised if the later is true.IDT Steeler fans care either way at this point. Compensation has always been top of mind with PIT...The main thing is don't let this comp pick BS stop them from pursuing a CB in FA.
